I’ve always been extremely satisfied with any encounter with staff. Enquirers by phone or email always responded to promptly or I have been advised of estimated time of response if they have anticipated a delay. Face to face encounters during staff visits to workplaces have always been positive. Your staff are always professional and don’t make promises they can’t deliver, which is important to me.

Certificate of Professional Practice
The skills that accelerate your career.
Why you need Enterprise Skills
Qualifications prepare you to do the job but Enterprise Skills prepare you to perform well and get ahead.
In technical professions there is a ‘Floor Price’ or minimum level of qualification and experience you need before you can apply for a position. Once that standard is met, qualifications don’t separate high achievers from under achievers, especially amongst early career Professionals who start out with very similar levels of technical knowledge.
Making a fast start to your career comes down to Enterprise Skills like your ability to communicate, write, work with others, negotiate, lead, management, network and many more.
These skills also matter because they are transferable, you can use them in more than one context and over the next 5 –10 years the markets you are entering will face unprecedented disruption from software automation and the shift to a peer to peer economy.
For these reasons we’ve created The Certificate of Professional Practice (CPP) so no matter what happens in the macro economy – Professionals Australia members have the skills to get ahead and stay ahead.
Certificate of Professional Practice is different
You won’t find any of the same old same old truisms or BS, you will find proven, practical and respected and skills that improve your performance.
Proven: Every strategy we suggested you turn into a habit is based on physiological, business or management studies – proven to work. We also take things a step further with phsycometric tests which give you the quantifiable feedback on progress that is so essential to adult learning.
Practical: We will be super happy if you tell us the exam is too easy because the hard part with enterprise skills isn’t understanding the theory, it’s implementing lasting habits. We've designed each course with habit development in mind and provide you with a habit development plan for each topic.
Respected: Employers respect the CPP because they helped to design it. Each CPP course is designed to address a skills gap identified by employers through our company survey reports.
When you complete a course or course level, we also give you a digital badge you can put on Linkedin to sell your skills.
What topics are covered?
The CPP is made up of three course levels that track the first 3 years of your career:
- The Graduate Standard: is designed to help you hit the ground running and make a fast start to your career. Covering - writing, communication, negotiation, personal branding, time management, networking and team work - it has everything you need to settle into the workforce.
- The Leadership Standard: when you’ve settled into the workforce and are ready for more responsibility. Covering public speaking, persuasion, leadership, digital literacy, learning skills, project management and problem solving, it has everything you need to begin leading people and projects.
- The Innovation Standard: Once your a few years into the job and ready to no longer be considered a graduate, the innovation standard is for you. Covering - Marketing, Strategy, Management, Systems Thinking, Finance, Economics and Entrepreneurship - it has all the skills you need to begin influencing your industry.
Each course is provided in Video, Podcast and Ebook formats – so however you like to learn we have you covered.

The benefit of having an organisation boasting skills, expertise, posture and credibility to advocate, defend, support and assist members in the workplace. I have rarely drawn on this over the past many years as a member, but when I have needed it, the peace of mind that comes from having someone to help fight your battles has been great!Professionals Australia Member
While I have net needed advice often, it has been great to have it available when I have – and know that I have somewhere to turn to when looking for an external opinion on a workplace issue. I have also found the resources produced by… Professionals Australia that I have accessed to be high quality and useful when thinking about / managing my career.Professionals Australia Member
I spoke to a Professionals Australia representative a couple of years ago about a Resume review and he provided me with very timely, comprehensive advice about my CV. He annotated the CV I had submitted with comments and ran me those comments over the phone, which I found extremely helpful, before graduating from university.Professionals Australia Member
The experience I had with direct contact with Professionals Australia was excellent. Easy to contact and returned calls in timely manner.Professionals Australia Member
At the time I needed support, (you were) the only organisation I was a member of, that actually did anything.Professionals Australia Member
My experiences with… industrial staff have been excellent – timely, supportive, seem genuinely concerned. Also experienced and expert – it’s nice not to be represented by a novice.Professionals Australia Member
