PA appearance at Senate Inquiry

4th March 2021

The Aviation Senate inquiry into the future of the aviation industry and the impacts of COVID held a hearing in Canberra where employees in the aviation industry were able to tell their stories of how the pandemic has impacted their working lives, and share perspectives of what things must be done to help the industry recover.

Professionals Australia was represented by the President of our Australian Government Group (and Airservices Australia Engineer) Matt Kelly and Director Dale Beasley.

Our evidence heard by the senate expanded on our submission to the inquiry, and talked about the need to maintain engineering, ICT and other STEM skills in the sector, both in airlines, aviation manufacturing, and the enabling public sector agencies; CASA and Airservices.
