  • Workplace Advice and Support

Employment and workplace law is a complex and constantly changing area. You’re not expected to be an expert in these areas, that’s what we’re here for.

We offer advice to our members and, when needed, representation on more serious issues that can include breach of contract, bullying and unfair treatment, unfair dismissal, redundancy and other common workplace problems.

Workplace advice and support is provided by a team of experienced legal and industrial officers.

When you contact us you can be assured that your confidentiality will be respected, no approaches to other individuals or organisations will be made without your approval and that you will be consulted on action we propose on your behalf.

We can help with things like:

  • Termination of employment
  • Review of individual common law employment contracts
  • Conditions of employment
  • Disciplinary issues/performance management
  • Workplace bullying and harassment
  • Discrimination
  • Market Rates Salary information
  • Award rates of pay
  • Independent Contractors – review of contracts for service
  • Restrictive Covenants
  • Intellectual Property

Read our member charter which outlines your rights and obligations when engaging our Workplace Advice and Support Team.

Each year we help more than 1,800 members resolve all kinds of workplace issues.
