MPD meets to decide 2018/19 program

The Professionals Australia Managers and Professionals Division held its annual planning meeting last weekend. The Committee reviewed its performance over the last 12 months and considered a program and budget for the coming year. Division President Rob Miller said the face to face meeting was important in that the group decided the strategic direction of the Division’s program for the year ahead and developed a plan for how they could deliver tangible benefits to members and set strong foundations for the Division over the coming 12 months. “The Committee hears a range of reports, talks about the trends and challenges that affect members and what initiatives might be useful and then develops a range of initiatives to support its key member groups including managers, IT professionals and translators and interpreters”, he said. “We then meet by phone throughout the year to review progress against our plan.”
