APESMA’s pharmacist members are encouraged to help make a submission on revised version of the Guidelines For Medication Management in Residential Aged Care Facilities.
The Department of Health and Ageing has engaged Australia's Health P/L to conduct the Medication Management in Residential Aged Care Facilities project. The project aims to develop a revised version of the Guidelines For Medication Management in Residential Aged Care Facilities (2002).; a plain language summary for consumers (residents) and carers (family or friends who support the consumer) and an implementation and education strategy for the revised Guidelines and plain language summary.
APESMA has been asked to contribute comments to this consultation.
