At the Crossroads – retention a key issue

June 8, 2011 in Information-Technology 0

APESMA’s At the crossroads report reveals that over 65 per cent of ICT Professionals had helped their organisation survive the GFC, only 33 per cent felt their help was appropriately recognised.

APESMA’s At the crossroads report reveals that over 65 per cent of ICT Professionals surveyed said while they had helped their organisation survive the global financial crisis, only 33 per cent felt their contribution had been appropriately recognised.

Over half said their organisation regarded IT staff as a resource or cost which could be cut rather than a part of moving forward post-GFC, and 58 per cent say they are seriously considering moving jobs in the next 12 months.

Tell us your GFC experience, or your views on the findings of the report …
