Staff duties in coal mining come with some legal risks. That’s why we set up the Collieries’ Staff Division Fund to be able to fully represent you in legal proceedings. A portion of your Association fees goes straight to the Fund which can help you with safety investigations and other work related legal matters.

No one ever expects to unfairly get the sack, but if you do you need someone to back you up. In an industry with high safety risks some employers can be quick to point the finger at Staff. We want to make sure that you are protected from termination when you aren’t to blame. We can help you with departmental and company investigations right from the start.

We are your first point of contact when you’re signing a new contract. Having a second opinion when it comes to legal documents can save you from getting an unfair deal. We will help you get the best out of your contracts.
