Professionals Australia is celebrating you, its members, through a new video series and we’re looking for participants.

Professionals Australia has a vast number of truly interesting members – yet there is a common belief that much of the work undertaken is neither special, nor interesting.
This is a problem which we want to overcome. It is important that professionals feel great about the work they undertake and the place they hold in the community.
That is why Professionals Australia is starting a new initiative: A day in the life of a professional.
The first profession we wish to profile if community pharmacy. We want to create something which pharmacists watch, and afterwards, feel great about being a pharmacist.
If you’re not a pharmacist, and want to be involved in future videos in this series, please let us know.
Professionals Australia is therefore seeking community pharmacist members to be part of our first member profile video.
The idea is to create a > 2min clip focusing on your day-to-day life and interactions – we wish to create a story which other members relate to, and convey this story in a visually pleasing way.
The Professionals Australia presence will be subtle and will be confined to a logo at the start of the clip, and a short message at the completion – we want to ensure the focus is on the member.
The types of footage we would seek to collect of the member includes work related task/duties such as the member servicing clients, preparing medications, answering calls and opening and closing the pharmacy.
We also wish to convey the non-work related aspects of the member’s life, such as leaving the house in the morning, getting into the car/catching public transport, sitting in traffic, and coming home.
We wish to tell a story about the day in the life of a pharmacist.
