Advanced Workplace Representatives Training

Union Education

Workplace Representatives from ElectraNet and SA Power Networks came together last week to share their experiences and learn some new skills to assist them in their role.  With Reps from ElectraNet currently close to winding up negotiations and Reps from SAPN about to commence the planning stage for their next EB the group worked well together. They had the opportunity to reflect on different levels of experience and how their learning outcomes will support them in their work as representatives engaging with Professionals Australia members within their workplace and having conversations with employees to find out their workplace issues and educate them about the possible outcomes when you approach these issues as a union.

One Rep commented “The earlier Reps can attend this training the better”.

If you are interested in attending Workplace Representative training to assist in your current role as a Professionals Australia Workplace Rep or you would like more information about the role and what it entails please contact Kylie Sopeer, Senior Organiser on 0413 746 402 or your local workplace Organiser.
